Seasonal Advice

Make sure your pet is safe and happy throughout the year.

We've provided a guide to tell you what to look out for from spring to winter.

Despite the cooling weather fleas unfortunately do not take holidays and are still a major problem at this time of year!

Ticks and Harvest mites are also active in the Autumn months.

Lungworm is fast becoming a major problem so keep your dog away from slugs and snails.

Look at our newsletter for information on Arthritis  and the benefits of acupuncture.

Puppy Socialisation Classes

All animals, including dogs, have a special sensitive period at the start of their lives. During this time they learn to accept things around them so that they are not afraid of them later in life. In puppies, this window of opportunity closes at about 12-16 weeks of age.

Puppy socialisation involves meeting and having pleasant encounters with many different adults, children and dogs. During this process they will also need to get used to a wide range of events, environments and situations.

Call one of our surgeries for more information and book a place for your puppy.
